The game engine for Stunt Island was co-developed by The Assembly Line. They also released a Mac OS X and Linux version in 2016 for other kinds of players.
It is needed OS X 10.9 or newer with Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz 1GB RAM: 3D graphics card with 256 MB VRAM to download it from the website. Eventually, a website called GOG.com released an emulated version for Microsoft Windows and DOSBox. The game also has an editing mode where the player can splice together taped footage and insert sound effects. The player can position cameras and props around these sets, and create triggers to start actions including the camera panning and an object moving. If you can get used to the fiddly controls there's plenty of high-altitude fun to be had playing Super-G Stunts.The game, marketed as "The Stunt Flying and Filming Simulation", provides an island which contains a number of different film sets, such as a city, an oil rig, a canyon, and an aircraft carrier. The music's a bit annoying and repetitive but I liked the sound effects of the pilot screaming as you crash him into a wall or cheering when you pass through a ring. All the environments are rendered in colorful 3D and the plane physics are pretty realistic. On the subject of graphics, Super-G Stunts is very nice to look at. There are three difficulty levels and an option for adjusting the graphics quality. Super-G Stunts is a pretty varied game, with eight different worlds to tackle (two in this demo version), and ten different planes to choose from (just one in the demo). Unfortunately, the controls in Super-G Stunts are very difficult to master due to the highly-sensitive navigation. The controls in Super-G Stunts are all based around the directional pad, and there are two different views to choose from - one where you're looking at the plane from behind, and another where you're sat in the cockpit.
